Kelly Osbourne recently slammed critics over the comments made regarding her looks and weight loss following her appearance at the Brit Awards.

The former reality show star, who appeared alongside her mom Sharon to accept the lifetime achievement award for her late father Ozzy Osbourne at the awards on 28 February, took to Instagram Story to express her frustration over the attention she received for her looks.

“There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something,” she wrote. “Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.”

Kelly said that she is doing the best she can, as she is still grieving her father’s passing.

“I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!” she expressed.

Ozzy Osbourne passed away on 22 July last year following a heart attack. He was 76.
