Who is Sun Wukong

In Chinese mythology, Sun Wukong is known as the ‘Monkey King.’ He is one of the main characters in the novel ‘Journey to the West.’ He has extraordinary strength and can take 72 different forms. In addition, each of his hairs has magical powers. However, he is also famous for his angry nature and mischief.

Legend Story

It is said that he was born from a magical stone. He could talk and walk immediately after birth. Later, he became the king of the monkeys and went to heaven and declared himself the ‘Great Sage Equal to Heaven.’
