From the walls, shelves, bed to small everyday items, everything in the room is decorated in the theme of the popular Japanese virtual idol Hatsune Miku. This room is not just a personal living space, but also a reflection of a young man’s long-standing love and interest.

The presence of Miku in every corner of @HatsuneMelvin‘s room clearly highlights the depth of his collection and hobby. This room is also gaining special importance as a real example of the spread of anime and virtual character-based culture among the younger generation in Singapore.
Introduction to Virtual Idol
Hatsune Miku is a Japanese virtual idol who is popular worldwide in music and digital culture. In the video, the young lady said that she first met Miku through a game called ‘Project Diva X’ in 2019. Miku’s long green hair and unique character design attracted him in particular.

Gradually, this interest turned into a deep love. Since then, she has started collecting Miku-related things regularly. As a result, Miku has become a part of his daily life.
Collection Expansion
There are numerous figures, key chains, posters and small and large plush toys lining the shelves of his house. The person who collects it, said that some things were bought online, while others were collected from various conventions. In addition, she also has plush toys won from scratch machines.

In total, this collection cost him about six to seven thousand Singapore dollars. However, according to her, it is not just an expense but an investment in her love. This collection expresses his personality.
Favorite Miku Items
The most beloved of all the collections is a large Miku plush toy, which she sleeps with every day. Although the plush costs about S$100, she said that its emotional value is much higher.

She also has a Miku-themed bag, which she carries when she goes out. There are even small Miku plushes inside the bag. This habit makes it clear that she is deeply attached to Miku.
Future Plans
When asked in the video, she said that she has no plans to stop collecting Miku in the near future. Rather, she dreams of creating an entire “Miku theme house” in the future. According to her, the goal is to create her own separate world.

Many also believe that such a unique hobby is gradually growing among the younger generation of Singapore. As a result, this Miku house is not just a personal story but a reflection of a culture.
