On Saturday, 20 September 2025, an alarming incident took place at Golden Triangle 2 in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia, where a man entered a shop occupied by three women and allegedly made inappropriate sexual demands.

CCTV footage, later uploaded on Reddit in a 2-minute 46-second video, showed the man walking into the shop through the front door before closing the shutter behind him.

He then approached the women at their desk and began speaking to them.

Disturbing Remarks Caught on Video
Halfway through the video, the man can be heard saying:
“It will only be for five minutes. I don’t want to do anything dangerous. I just want to have sex.”
Although not confirmed, he can also be seen grabbing his private part while allegedly saying to one staff, “I just want you to grab my d**.”*

Women Resisted His Advances
The man, who was wearing a motorcycle helmet, cornered the women and even attempted to touch one of their hairs.
The staff pushed him back, causing him to retreat.

He then tried persuading the other two women, but they avoided him and placed a large box between themselves and the man.
They pushed the box forward to block his approach, which eventually made him stop and leave the shop.

After he exited, one of the women quickly took out her phone, seemingly to contact the authorities, while another went to the shutter to peek outside; likely checking where the man had gone or to ensure he wasn’t waiting nearby.

Public Outrage and Safety Concerns
The video has since circulated widely online, sparking outrage among netizens who condemned the man’s actions.
Some viewers noted how frightening the situation must have been, especially considering the possibility that the man could have been armed, and expressed concern that he may have stalked the women beforehand.
There were also concerns about the environment the women were working in, with some suggesting the shop resembled a semi-legal office where employers might resist installing better security despite the trauma staff may now face.
Beyond immediate safety, others pointed out the deeper issue: the man’s sense of entitlement and worldview.
Authorities Urged to Act
As of now, no official statement has been released by authorities on whether the man has been caught.
However, many social media users have urged swift action to identify and apprehend the man, stressing that the safety of women in workplaces like these must be taken more seriously.
