My Chemical Romance Is Finally Coming Back to Singapore in 2026!

It’s official: American rock band My Chemical Romance (MCR) is making their long-awaited return to Singapore with a one-night-only concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Tuesday, 28 April 2026, at 8 pm!

This marks their first show in the city-state since their 2007 performance, nearly two decades ago.

The Singapore stop is part of MCR’s 2026 Southeast Asia tour, which also includes dates in South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

SEA Tour Confirmed After KL Billboard Mystery

This announcement comes just after fans in Malaysia went into a frenzy over a mysterious digital billboard that appeared in Kuala Lumpur earlier this month.

The screen displayed the phrases “Malaysia, Are You Okay?” and “Malaysia, do you love me?”, alongside gothic fonts, a black background, and a wilted rose, imagery that longtime fans quickly associated with MCR’s signature style.

Fans couldn’t help but see it as a shoutout to their 2004 hit I’m Not Okay (I Promise), and that was all it took for comeback rumours to start spreading like wildfire.

Speculation intensified when a deleted Instagram post, allegedly shared by the band’s official account, listed Malaysia as a 2026 tour stop.

Malaysia Stop Confirmed Alongside Singapore and More

On Monday, 7 July 2025, My Chemical Romance officially released their Southeast Asia tour dates, confirming the fan theories.

Among the six stops is Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where the band is set to perform on Thursday, 30 April 2026, at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil, just two days after their Singapore concert.

Here’s the full list of confirmed dates in the region:

A Long-Awaited Return for the MCRmy

Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, My Chemical Romance shot to international fame with their unique fusion of emo, punk, and theatrical rock.

Their 2004 album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge became a breakout success, followed by 2006’s The Black Parade, which featured hits like Welcome to the Black Parade, Teenagers, and Famous Last Words.

The band went on hiatus in 2013, before reuniting in 2019. Since then, they have toured globally to sold-out crowds.

Tickets Go On Sale This Friday

Tickets for My Chemical Romance’s Singapore concert will go on sale this Friday, 11 July 2025, at 10 am via Sistic, with prices ranging from S$148 to S$328.

Given the band’s massive following and the anticipation built over the past weeks, fans are advised to be ready when sales open; this show is expected to sell out fast!
