A 51-year-old Malaysian man collapsed and later died while playing badminton with friends at a sports facility in Sungai Petani, Kedah, on the night of June 30, 2025 (Monday).

Complained of Dizziness Before Collapsing
According to China Press, the man had just complained of feeling dizzy before he suddenly collapsed while walking.

Performed CPR but Pronounced Dead Later
Those nearby immediately stepped in to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and later rushed him to the hospital.

Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead not long after arriving at the hospital.
Autopsy Confirms Heart-related Cause
The incident was later confirmed by local authorities.
According to reports, Kuala Muda District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Hanyan Ramlan said that an autopsy found the man had died of a heart attack.

Although sports and recreational activities are commonly viewed as beneficial, medical conditions can sometimes emerge without warning.
Individuals should monitor their health and seek medical attention if they experience any discomfort or unusual symptoms during physical activity.
