On the evening of 16 November 2024, a man in a grey hoodie allegedly trespassed into a condominium in Singapore before wrecking a car with a barrage of kicks and punches.
What Happened
Darren (not his real name) parked his car inside his condominium in central Singapore at approximately 8:12pm on Saturday, 16 November 2024.
Just seven minutes later, according to CCTV footage, a man clad in a grey hoodie and bermudas walks up to the car. The man punches the car multiple times.
The assailant also delivered a flying kick to the side mirror of the car. He also kicked the front passenger side door.
When the side mirror did not dislodge, he tried to pull it apart with his entire body weight. At one point of time, he was almost kneeling on one knee.
After a final punch which caused the side mirror to bend, he fled the scene.
According to Darren’s daughter, the man allegedly entered the condominium by pretending to be a delivery rider.
Police Report Filed
On the morning of 17 November 2024, after reviewing the CCTV footage, Darren filed a police report.
Darren’s daughter told Wake Up Singapore that her family now fears for their safety. They are of the view that this attack was unprovoked and premeditated.
Darren stated that the incident, along with the assailant’s entry and exit, would have been captured by multiple CCTVs within the condominium.
