3 Degrees is a Singapore-based platform dedicated to connecting NGOs and socially conscious individuals by sharing stories and causes important to both. Our mission is to turn online actions into offline good, encouraging a generation to tell stories that matter.
3 Degrees is proud to announce the launch of one of the largest student video competitions in Singapore, aimed at fostering social engagement among the youth and empowering future leaders.
The competition invites students to craft engaging 30-second to 2-minute videos highlighting charities’ impactful work in vital sectors. Through storytelling and creativity, participants can raise awareness, inspire action, and foster positive change in their communities.
Key Details:
Who Can Participate:
- Students 18 and above are currently enrolled in any educational institution in Singapore.
- Each Team must submit videos and be registered before 1 September 2024
- Each team can have a maximum of 4 student members.
- Each student member must have a registered 3 Degrees account.
- Teams can submit as many videos as they wish.
Video Requirements:
30-second to 2-minute video focusing on local charities of their choice.

3 Degrees believes that involving students in these activities not only helps them be responsible citizens but also helps them grow as leaders. By giving students a chance to speak up for charities, the competition hopes to encourage empathy, caring, and involvement in the community among young people.
How to Participate:
- Visit www.3degrees.app/voicesforchange/2024 to register for free. Credit your team accurately. By submitting, you agree to let 3 Degrees use your entries for publicity.
- Students choose any charity from the 3 Degrees platform. Students can either:
- Create content with selected charities individually or together;
- Select another charity and invite to participate
There are no limits on videos or charities supported.
The top 10 teams will be invited to attend the awards ceremony for winners.
Prizes to be won:
Eligibility & Requirements:
- Video Content: Videos must avoid swearing, violence, nudity, or any content deemed offensive or inappropriate.
- Approval Process: Charities can approve and publish videos on the 3 Degrees platform. However, all submissions will undergo judging irrespective of approval status.
- Platform Registration: The highlighted charity must be registered on the 3 Degrees platform.
- Deadline: All video submissions must be uploaded to the designated platform by September 1, 2024. Early submissions are encouraged to optimize exposure and impact.
- Captions: Although not obligatory, it is strongly recommended to include captions to improve accessibility.
- Copyright Compliance: All entries must adhere strictly to copyright laws.
