12th Singapore Media Festival
Now in its 12th year, the Singapore Media Festival (SMF) continues to be The Heart of the World’s Stories, where Asia’s creativity meets global opportunity. Hosted by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), it reflects Singapore as an incubator where ideas take shape, a crucible for collaboration, and an axis where industry meets audience.
SMF unites storytellers, creators and leaders to co-produce bold, resonant content, Made with Singapore, Made for the World. This year, journey through film, content, pop culture and TV at the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF), Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF), Singapore Comic Con (SGCC) and Nas Summit (NAS).

A Celebration at the Heart of the World’s Films
The Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) is where stories come alive. Now in its 36th edition, SGIFF empowers filmmakers with creative and technical excellence to craft fresh, distinctive works that festival programmers champion, critics celebrate, and audiences worldwide embrace. Experience global stories alongside Made with Singapore films, from captivating premieres to bold new expressions, and meet the filmmakers, legends and creative minds shaping the future of storytelling.
Event Highlights
SGIFF opens with Girl, a coming-of-age drama written and directed by Shu Qi in her feature directorial debut, accompanied by an inspiring lineup of over 120 films from more than 45 countries.
Don’t miss some of these enthralling films, including:
- The Old Man and His Car, a portrait of a retired widower directed by Michael Kam, starring veteran actors Lim Kay Tong and Richard Low
- Made with Singapore film 10s Across the Borders, directed by Singaporean filmmaker Chan Sze-Wei, which follows pioneering figures of Southeast Asia’s ballroom scene
- Sandbox, a heartfelt comedy directed by James Thoo, featuring Benjamin Kheng, Nathan Hartono and Oon Shu An

The Nas Summit is where the world’s creators converge. Designed for both aspiring and established voices, from individual content creators to creative SMEs, it explores the future of digital storytelling and how AI is transforming creativity.
Building on this creative evolution, the summit offers workshops, live performances, and global networking opportunities. It’s a crucible of discovery and collaboration where creators from Asia and beyond share strategies, spark ideas, and grow their influence on the world stage.
Key Speakers:
- Julius Dein, viral magician, comedian and entertainer with over 70 million fans, will discuss how storytelling and spectacle can capture attention and build influence.
- Drew Binsky, American travel filmmaker who has amassed over 7 billion views, will share his insights on going viral as a content creator using AI.
