The 2025 BSB Night Run Kids Dash was like a fairy tale night. In the crowd of that bright and shiny event, there was a moment that silenced the entire field for a few seconds. When the little participant Zeeshan, who suffers from cerebral palsy, slowly moved forward with a walker, everyone forgot about the competition and watched only his courage and joy.

Colorful Atmosphere of the Festival
A joyful atmosphere had been created in the Jakabaring Sport City since the afternoon. Children were running to get their number cards. Their laughter and excitement were making the whole place buzz.

Parents were busy holding onto memories. Instead of a competition, there was a kind of family joyride. As a result, everyone had a smile of satisfaction on their faces before the Kids Dash started.
When Zeeshan on the Track
The moment that lit up the scene was when little Zeeshan entered the track pushing a walker. Soft applause could be heard all around at the beginning. Even though he was walking slowly, his face was filled with joy at every step.

Other children kept running alongside him. Parents standing by the side of the road cheered him on every few steps. As soon as he reached the finish line, the entire field celebrated his victory together.
A mother’s Strong Attitude
Zeeshan’s mother, Dewi, said that Zeeshan expressed his desire to participate after seeing children’s races on YouTube. So she started looking for an event where all children could run without restrictions.

Later, when she learned about Kids Dash, she asked the organizers. They immediately said that all children are welcome. There are no special conditions. All that is needed is the joy of participating.
Priceless Experience
Zeeshan was excited at every moment of the race. His mother says that this experience changed him from the inside. Now he believes that he can move forward, even if it is slowly. Other parents believe that Kids Dash teaches children important lessons about support, friendship, and accepting each other. So this night, the children returned home with not only medals but also a lesson in courage.

Social Significance of The Event
The BSB Night Run is held as part of the 68th anniversary of Bank Sumsel Babel. The organizers want it to become one of the most popular sports tourism attractions in South Sumatra. The participation of children, parents and local small businesses proves that this event is now not just a race but a community festival.
