Girl Reveals Abuse After Confiding in Father
A 13-year-old girl in Hua Hin, Thailand, disclosed that her biological mother and aunt forced her into prostitution at age 11 to repay debts and buy drugs, Hua Hin Today reported.
The case came to light on April 26, 2025, when the victim contacted her father and stepmother. She told them she did not want to live with her mother anymore and told them about the abuse.
Father Drove to Hua Hin, Seeking Help from Pavena Foundation
Following his daughter’s revelation, her father drove from Phuket to Hua Hin to get his daughter.
Initially, the mother resisted when he wanted to take his daughter, but eventually relented after a confrontation.
Her father then contacted the Pavena Foundation for Children and Women on April 30, 2025, seeking legal help and protection for his daughter.

The foundation, known for its work in child welfare, collaborated with local authorities to address the situation.
Mother’s Arrest and Confession
On May 19, 2025, police arrested the mother on charges including human trafficking and procuring a child under 15 for sex exploitation.

On top of that, an additional charge was made for drug use after she tested positive for methamphetamine.
Regarding drug use, the victim revealed that her mother is a methamphetamine addict. She recalled her mother forcing her to collect drugs to avoid being arrested.
During questioning, the victim’s mother confessed to working with her sister to sell her daughter’s services on three occasions, receiving payments that were allegedly kept by her sister (the victim’s aunt), Bangkok Post reported.
The Horrific Encounters
The first encounter occurred in August 2023 when the victim was taken to a public park to meet a 50-year-old man.
After this meeting, she was taken to a hotel, where she was assaulted. She then returned home in pain and was bleeding in her genitals. The mother, however, dismissed these as menstrual pain.
The mother and aunt allegedly received 1,500 baht (approx. S$59) for this encounter.
The second incident occurred about two months later at a motel where they received 2,000 baht (approx. S$78). Additionally, they also received 5,000 baht (approx. S$192) on the third encounter.
The same man who purchased the services informed the victim’s mother that he would not need to see the girl again, as she resisted and fought back, which he claimed “killed the mood.”
Background of Family Struggles
The victim’s father, a 35-year-old driver from Phuket, had been separated from the victim’s mother for several years.
They were never married, according to reports.

He stated difficulties accessing his daughters due to the mother denying him access to them.
He expressed concern not only for his 13-year-old daughter but also for his other daughter, 8, who is still under their mother’s care.
The Pavena Foundation is working to ensure the younger sister’s safety and well-being, coordinating with social services for her potential relocation to her father.
Police Still Searching for The Man and Her Aunt
While Police are still searching for the victim’s aunt and the man who allegedly paid for the victim’s services, the Pavena Foundation continues to monitor the situation closely, ensuring both sisters receive the necessary support and care during this challenging time.
Pavena Foundation’s Role
Pavena Hongsakul, the foundation’s president, pointed out the importance of acting quickly in such cases.
The foundation provides help and support for victims of abuse and exploitation.
The community has praised the prompt response from both the foundation and local police, calling for stronger protections for vulnerable children.
