Thai actress Bow Maylada Susri has shocked a lot of her fans by telling them a very personal story with regards to her health. She has a bright smile and a cheerful personality and recently came out openly in an interview talking of a rare condition she has carried along since birth.
The news went viral, becoming the topic of attention of a lot of people who did not imagine such a powerful and energetic celebrity to have such peculiar health issues.
A Pain She Could Not Explain
Bow had suffered very severe menstrual pains for a long period of time. It was not that kind of pain that most women experience. Sometimes the pain was so severe that she fainted in the vicinity of her bathroom and was forced to take her to the hospital. Later doctors determined that she should undergo an operation to have a condition called chocolate cyst, which would cause severe pain when not treated.
In the course of the operation, doctors have made a shocking discovery. They established that Bow is born to have a double uterus which means that she was born with two uteruses, as opposed to one. It is one of the rare cases, and it was the reason why she always experienced more pain than usual. The health care team was said to have been shocked and had an interest in investigating the case of her further.
A Discovery of Another Rare Discovery.
To make matters worse, physicians also found out that Bow has only one kidney. As opposed to the majority of individuals who are born with two, she has survived her whole life without one. Her kidney alone is fortunately very strong and can do the work without any great difficulty.
Nevertheless, physicians cautioned her on the way she lives her life. She must not be involved in very intense physical activities and must take greater caution of her health. Check-ups are also necessary to ensure that nothing goes wrong.
Under these circumstances, Bow still manages to be positive and proceeds with her business in the entertainment sector. Her vigor and humor have not diminished, and this only makes her admirable to the fans.
She too discussed her relationship with her boyfriend, Alek Teeradetch. Bow had an experience when she expressed that her condition will not prevent her having a family in the future. But she realizes that a pregnancy would require close medical care to be safe to both her and the baby.
This sincere disclosure has helped Bow to be viewed differently by many, not as an actor, fun and lively, but as a person who has silently overcome some serious challenges with force.
