Just like “Spider-Man,” it was revealed that the superhero’s antihero character “Venom” will now have its own animated movie.

As reported on THR, the project will be helmed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, the duo behind last year’s “Final Destination: Bloodlines.” On the other hand, Sony’s “Venom” producers, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach, will be producing the project.

As for Tom Hardy, who plays the titular character in the live-action films, it was reported that he too will be involved as a producer.

For the meantime, no writer has been attached to the project.

The last “Venom” film, “The Last Dance,” was released in 2024 and made USD 478.9 million at the box office.
