Tiger Spotted Near Plantation Road Alarms Johor Village Residents After Shocking Video
Facebook

The villagers of the Malaysian state of Johor in Kluang were caught unawares when a video of the tiger walking near their village went viral.

The clip was a viral hit with the locals, particularly those residing around Kampung Rahmat at the Sri Lalang locality. Numerous residents claimed that they have never witnessed such a huge wild beast that would be that close to their houses.

The video was allegedly filmed by one of the plantation owners who was passing by a dirt road on his way to pick up an employee. The highway cuts through a serene plantation landscape where people rarely drive through it. When the man was driving slowly in the path of his vehicle, something cropped up ahead of his car.

When the Townsman met with a cropper.

Reportedly, the first thing that the driver and his passenger heard was some strange sounds in the nearby bushes. They initially believed that it could have been a wild boar or some other common animal found in the locality. But in a few seconds, a massive tiger strolled slowly over the dirt road right before their four part drive.

The two men were soon brought to their senses on the gravity of the situation. They drove at a slower pace and remained in the car observing the wildlife.

The tiger did not run over the road, but entered into the thick bushes next to the plantation. It took just a few seconds but was enough to ensure that the driver captured a video of the extreme sightseeing.

Animal Returns again by bushes.

The men thought that the animal was gone out of the area, and just at this time they saw the tiger again. It quickly passed behind the local bushes which are not very far off the plantation fields where local workers can perform their daily operations. The men held back and made no effort to follow the animal.

Upon coming back to the village, the video soon went round among the village residents. People were shocked and worried especially those who come to work at the early morning or late in the evening in the plantations.

To others, the uploading of the video showed that people in villages would be more cautious when traveling on roads owned by plantations.

Police Keep an Eye on the Situation.

Sightseeing of wildlife is not entirely out of the ordinary in the forested regions in Malaysia, but it is uncommon near villages. The Sri Lalang surroundings still possess tracts of forest which can be used as wild animal habitats.

According to experts, tigers can be found roaming in some plantations in search of food or during movement between forested regions.
