Thai Man Bitten on Testicles by Snake While Using the Toilet

On the morning of August 19, 2024, Tanat Tangtewanon, a man in Thailand, experienced a terrifying encounter after being bitten by a snake while using the toilet. He shared his horrifying experience on his Facebook account on August 20, 2024, detailing how a snake bit him on his testicles. The incident occurred around 10:00 AM as he followed his usual morning routine. As part of his routine, he always pressed the flush before sitting down to ensure there were no unexpected intruders in the toilet.

A Painful and Shocking Discovery

As he sat on the toilet, he suddenly felt a sharp, intense pain in his groin area. Alarmed, he reached down to investigate and was horrified to find a snake latched onto his balls. The snake’s fangs were deeply embedded, and in a state of shock, he instinctively grabbed the snake’s neck in an attempt to pull it away.

Despite his best efforts, the snake’s grip was strong, making it difficult to remove. In his panic, the man spotted a toilet brush nearby and began striking the snake repeatedly, trying to free himself.

However, in his frenzied state, he forgot that he was holding the snake with his own hand, resulting in him accidentally hitting his own fingers as well. Although painful, he continued until the snake finally went limp.

Safe but Shaken

After finally removing the snake, Tanat Tangtewanon quickly called the building’s guard to dispose of it and sought help from a neighbor to get to the hospital. Thankfully, the snake was identified as a non-venomous python, and while the encounter was extremely painful and frightening, his injuries were not life-threatening.

Now safe and recovering, Tanat Tangtewanon shared his story to warn others about the potential dangers lurking in unexpected places. He emphasized the importance of staying safe, especially during the rainy season when snakes might seek shelter indoors. Although he still bears the scars from the bite, he is relieved that the situation wasn’t more severe.
