Malaysian Traveller Strange Encounter with a Deer in Japan.

The man, thought to be a Malaysian, was paying a visit to Nara, a city that is renowned because of its free-roaming deer. A life-long stroll had soon become a peculiar and curious phenomenon as one deer began to trail him.

A Quiet Walk Turns Unusual

The accident occurred in Nara Park where every day hundreds of deer are free to roam among the tourists. These deer are friendly and at the same time pushy, particularly when they feel somebody has something to eat.

The man does not appear bothered at all in the beginning of the video, yet the deer is right behind him, step by step. He remains calm and instead does something different unlike most tourists who scream or flee.

Bowing Instead of Panicking

The man instead of running turns to bow down slowly to the deer. Not only once, but a few times. The deer halts and gazes at him and ceases to move. The scene is almost similar to politeness, the two seem to know one another.

The man maintains his distance, bows once more, and makes sure to walk off. The deer does not pursue him any longer.

Captured on Camera

One of the visitors captured the whole scene on camera and posted it on social media. The video had gone viral and the viewers considered the moment amusing and intriguing.

Lots of individuals were astonished that so simple an act was to work. It does not make any loud noise, does not move suddenly and does not show any signs of fear. Strictly silent actions and steps.

Why Nara Deer Act This Way

The deer in Nara are not wild as the word goes. They coexist with people and are accustomed to human behavior. There are also tourists who bow down to deer when they give them special crackers and on other occasions the deer also bow down. This has turned out to constitute a typical view in Nara. Due to this fact, the deer did not find anything odd about the action of the man.

A Small Moment That Stood Out

The duration of this brief encounter was in the few seconds range but this brief interaction created a massive impact online.

Numerous audiences reported that the scene was relaxing and reverent despite occurring in a rather unforeseen setting. This silent communication in a location where man and animals co-exist revealed another face of traveling in Japan.
