Tuesday afternoon at a busy train station in Kuala Lumpur had a twist to the story when a man was discovered standing in a hazardous place at an MRT station building. The fact that the man was hovering near the structure drew the attention of people around them and they realized that something was wrong.
Worried witnesses immediately reported to the police and an emergency response was immediately dispatched and this brought attention to the crime scene.

It was found in the afternoon at Taman Midah MRT Station that the man was a foreign national who was in his 30s. Initially, travelling commuters who were passing by the station did not know what was happening. Nonetheless, it turned out that the situation was severe as emergency teams started arriving at the scene.
Emergency Call Received
It was reported that the situation was reported through the NG999 system to the emergency desk of Kuala Lumpur Fire and rescue department at about 3:31 p.m. A rescue team was immediately deployed by the department to the site.
The firefighters of Bandar Tun Razak Fire and Rescue Station were first deployed and another team of firefighters of Jalan Hang Tuah Fire and rescue station were also part of the operation.

Upon the arrival of the rescue team, they immediately got the scene on the ground and noticed that the man was standing at the perilous side of the building.
Firefighters also knew that they had to approach the situation with care to ensure that the situation did not get worse. The key objective was to take the man out of the danger without panicking.
Careful Rescue Operation
The rescue personnel started putting up safety measures in the area. A safety net was ready below in case, and the firefighters crawled in the proximity of the man. This operation demanded calm communication and a patient working to save him.

Having spent a moment under strain, a moment, however, and having succeeded in turning the man off the side of the building. Rescue was done successfully, and he was safely brought down without any injuries. There was a silence of people observing the surrounding when the situation was brought under control.
After the rescue had been done, the man was left in the hands of police officers to take further matters against him. The authorities subsequently established that no citizen and no firefighter got hurt in the process. In a very short period, the locality was back to its usual routine with commuters back to work via the station.
