Thousands were seen gathered in Minab on Tuesday for the funerals of those schoolgirls and others reported killed in a school strike on Saturday.

Footage includes sweeping shots of the crowds from above.

Iranian media reported 165 people including children were killed in the strike on Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ elementary school in southern Iran on Saturday.

Iran blamed the US and Israel; Israel claimed it was ‘not aware’ of ops in the area, and the US said it was looking into it. The US and Israel attacked Iran on Saturday morning.

Tehran said it was responding with strikes on Israel and US assets in the region, with explosions reported in countries right across the Gulf region. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was confirmed dead in a strike on Saturday. It comes after a number of rounds of talks between the Americans and Iranians.
