National Tennis player Shaheed Alam’s tennis-driven charity event successfully raised more than SGD 22,000 to support our migrant workers through ItsRainingRaincoats (IRR).
First launched in 2020, Project Love-All raised over SGD 7,400 to deliver meals to 880 migrant workers during Hari Raya Aidilfitri. This year, the initiative made an even greater impact.
Held at Savitar Tennis Centre on 17 August, the 2025 edition was attended by more than 100 people – inclusive of participants, partners, volunteers, family, and friends who came together to raise funds for the well-being and social integration of Singapore’s migrant worker community.
The event was graced by the Guest-of-Honour, Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs, Mr Edwin Tong, who participated in an exclusive on-court session with migrant workers. Popular radio personality Jean Danker of Class 95 also brought her signature energy to the event as host.
Highlights included a doubles tennis competition, a pro challenge featuring national athletes Bill Chan, Luke Koh, and Deanne Choo, and significant sponsored contributions that amplified fundraising efforts.
“I am incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we received this year,” said Shaheed Alam, founder of Project Love-All.
“It was heartwarming to see the tennis community, partners, family, and friends come together for such a meaningful cause. The turnout and funds raised exceeded our expectations, and I would like to sincerely thank every participant, partner, volunteer, and sponsor who made this event possible. This is only the beginning — I hope Project Love-All will continue to grow and support other communities in the years ahead.”
Project Love-All stands out not only for its charity goals but also for its spirit of inclusivity. The initiative embodies a rare blend of grassroots action, elite sport, and purpose — a true reflection of what it means to be Singaporean today.
