Comments stated were generalised on how sugar is correlated to having a bigger belly. Therefore it could be interpreted like being pregnant with sugar. Another user also joked about how sugar baby is what we can currently afford with a probable reason of the rising costs of having a child in Singapore.

Other users mentioned that the poster was largely inaccurate due to their preferred choice of sugar content being at 0% however they have a larger belly.

For bubble tea lovers out there, as far as this may be a publicity poster, it’s a good idea to be mindful of your sugar intake and choose lower sugar options when possible.
