Prashanth is set to star in the Tamil remake of the critically-acclaimed Telugu courtroom drama, “Court: State vs. A Nobody”.

The upcoming project, officially titled “Ranjan – The Advocate” was announced during the actor’s 53rd birthday celebration in Chennai, which was attended by many film players including Vetri Maaran, Karthik, and KS Ravikumar.
To be directed by Thiagarajan, the film will mark the reunion between the director and the said actor, following their last project, “Andhangan” (2024).

The movie will also co-star Ravi Yadav, GV Prakash, and Senthil Ragavan.
The original film, released last year, stars Priyadarshi Pulikonda as a passionate defence attorney, who fights against prejudice and corruption in the justice system while representing a teenage client wrongly presumed guilty of a serious crime.
