Police Operation in Pathum Thani
Police raided two clinics just north of Bangkok, where procedures such as penis enlargement and circumcisions were allegedly carried out by unqualified staff.

The raids were conducted by Thailand’s Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD) following complaints about illegal treatments being performed in Pathum Thani province.
Nurse Assistant Caught in the Act
According to Daily Mail, during the first raid, officers entered a clinic and found a 28-year-old man in the middle of a cosmetic procedure on a patient.
He later admitted that he was not a doctor but a nursing assistant employed at the clinic for about four months.

He also told authorities he sometimes assisted doctors, but when none were available, he carried out the procedures himself.
More than 625 items, including syringes, drugs, and other medical equipment, were seized at the scene.

Filthy Conditions and Misleading Advertising
The premises were found to be in poor condition, with medical waste such as used syringes and lab gowns discarded around the facility.

Authorities also discovered that the clinic advertised its services online using deceptive images, including digitally created pictures (AI) of men holding oversized bananas next to their crotch.
Second Clinic Raided
A second raid targeted another nearby clinic where police discovered a 37-year-old woman administering vitamin IV drips to patients.
Authorities found that she only had a vocational certificate, which is not a medical license, and she was not legally qualified to perform the procedure.

She admitted to working at the clinic for about a year. Officers seized 175 bottles of prescription and unregistered drugs from the site, The Sun reported.
Police Warning to the Public
Police Major General Pattanasak Bupphasuwan, commander of the CPPD, warned that penile filler injections provide no medical benefit and that inserting foreign objects into the body can lead to infection, inflammation, or long-term dysfunction.
He urged fake doctors and unlicensed clinics to stop immediately, emphasizing that such acts are dangerous to the public.
Legal Penalties
Under Thailand’s law, allowing non-medical personnel to perform treatments is a criminal offense. Violators face up to two years in prison, fines of up to 40,000 baht (approx. S$1,578), or both.
