Despite tough competition from “Sinners,” Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another” still emerged as the big winner of the 98th Oscars.
The film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead, took home six accolades in total, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay for Anderson.
The movie also won Best Supporting Actor for Sean Penn, who was absent from the ceremony, as well as Best Film Editing and Casting.
“Sinners” came in second with four Oscars. Michael B. Jordan was named Best Actor, while Ryan Coogler won Best Original Screenplay. The movie also won Best Original Score, as well as Best Cinematography for Autumn Durald Arkapaw, who became the first woman to ever win the award.

Best original score: Sinners – Ludwig Goransson

Best international feature: Sentimental Value
Best documentary feature: Mr Nobody Against Putin
