The suspect, identified as Om Prakash Bhusal, claims to work as a chef, according to reports.

Alleged Assault Took Place on Platform Bench

The incident occurred around 7:50 p.m. as the student sat on a bench at the station, waiting for a train to arrive.

Bhusal then allegedly approached her and licked her thigh without her consent. Following this, the girl immediately moved away and called her mother, who then reported the incident to the police.

Suspect Followed Victim onto Train

After the initial incident, Bhusal reportedly tried to sit next to the girl once she boarded the train.

Feeling unsafe, she relocated and contacted her mother again. This second call prompted the mother to update the police.

Police Waited at the Next Station for the Arrest

Authorities coordinated with the girl’s movements and waited for the train’s arrival at the next station. Upon its arrival, officers located and arrested the suspect on suspicion of indecent assault.

Police Investigating Using Surveillance Footage

When questioned about the allegations, Bhusal denied any wrongdoing and said, “I don’t understand Japanese.”

The case remains under investigation as police review the station security footage to better understand what happened.
