Micron Singapore supports Pride

In a stunning display of solidarity, Micron Singapore has not left any room for doubt on its position on inclusivity. It raised the Progress Pride Flag and lit up its building in Bendeemer to support LGBTQ+ rights.

In a series of photos published on its Facebook page, employees of Micron posed cheerfully for the camera while carrying pride flags.

The Progress Pride Flag

The Progress Pride Flag was created in 2018 and each color is supposed to represent a value that the LGBTQ+ community holds dear.

Lighting up the building

In addition to raising the Progress Pride Flag, Micron also lit its building at Bendeemer route in rainbow colours to support Pride.

Reactions

The post performed well on Facebook, garnering more than 400 reactions and almost 50 shares. Many Facebook users praised Micron for showing support.

Sora Noize, a Facebook user, quipped that homophobes may now have to “find a different computer chip company”.
