Authorities are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted and threatened to kill a female security guard at an apartment complex in Bandar Puteri Puchong, Malaysia.
The victim reported the incident on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at around 1:30 PM, according to Serdang district police chief ACP A. A. Anbalagan.
Attack at Security Booth
The incident happened on Tuesday, February 25, at around 12:30 AM, when the 32-year-old victim was on duty.
The suspect, whom she knew, approached her at the security booth and confessed his feelings, according to Astro Awani.
However, when she rejected him, he became enraged and attempted to stab her with a pocket knife.
Fortunately, she managed to block the attack and escape unharmed. Additionally, based on reports, the victim rejected him because she was in the process of getting a divorce.
Suspect Returns and Escalates Violence
About three hours later, at approximately 3:28 AM, the suspect came back and turned more violent. He punched her in the head, choked her, and threatened to kill her.
A male colleague who was present at the scene later intervened and managed to pull him away before the situation worsened.

Police Investigations Ongoing
Authorities confirmed that the case is being investigated under Section 324 and 506 of the Penal Code for causing injury with a weapon and criminal intimidation, as well as Section 6 of the Corrosive and Explosive Substances and Dangerous Weapons Act 1958 for carrying a dangerous weapon in a public place.
“Police are working to track down and arrest the suspect,” he stated, urging anyone with information to contact the Serdang District Police Headquarters.
