A few days ago, an uncommon sight went viral on TikTok. Two colorful birds, one blue and the other green, have been seen dancing to the beat of a song. The video was taken by Malay Mail, and they published it on their TikTok page on 6 October.

In the video, both birds are seen nodding their heads and swaying their bodies — as if in perfect sync with the music. Viewers were amazed by this mesmerizing scene. The bird owner probably made the sound of his bike’s mechanical system, and the birds started dancing.
Bird Lover’s Reaction
Though the video got thousands of reactions, shares, and views, some people criticized the cage of the birds, as it was very dirty inside. Consequently, the bird lovers got triggered by seeing how these two little ones are being kept in the cage.

Whereas, some others were also enjoying the video of these two birds. They found it funny and cute.

On the other hand, many others were also saying that they are not dancing.

Do the birds really dance?
Amidst this debate, the question now arises in everyone’s mind as to whether birds actually dance to the beat of music. Since the birds are Lovebirds, which are included in the Agapornis genus in the parrot family. However, they range from about five to seven inches in length.

In fact, according to the new study from Charles Sturt University, this type of bird can headbang, body roll and sidestep intentionally to music. Significantly, some cockatoos have their own way to move or dance with the beat of the music.
Similarly, from the same study, researchers analyzed 45 social media videos of dancing cockatoos and identified 30 different movements, 17 of which had never been documented before.
