Traffic moved slowly along Jalan Kem in Port Klang around noon when an unexpected accident caused confusion and long lines of vehicles. A large container suddenly fell off a moving trailer, blocking part of the road and forcing drivers to stop quickly.

The incident happened in a busy area where many trucks and cars pass every day. Witnesses said the trailer appeared to be moving faster than usual just before the container became loose and dropped onto the road.

Container Falls Without Warning

According to local police, the container detached from the trailer while it was in motion. It landed heavily on the road, creating a loud noise that surprised nearby drivers. Some vehicles were forced to brake suddenly, but fortunately, no collisions were reported.

Police confirmed that there were no injuries and no damage to other vehicles. This helped prevent the situation from becoming more serious, even though the road was quickly filled with stopped traffic.

Traffic Builds Up Quickly

As the container blocked part of the الطريق, traffic congestion formed within minutes. Drivers had to wait while authorities worked to manage the situation. Some people stepped out of their vehicles to see what had happened, while others tried to find alternate routes.

The scene remained busy as officers directed traffic and ensured safety. Tow trucks and workers were later called in to remove the fallen container and clear the road.

The driver of the trailer, a 30-year-old man, was checked by authorities after the incident. Police stated that he tested negative for both alcohol and drugs. However, early findings suggest that speeding may have been the main reason behind the accident.

Officials reminded commercial drivers to be more careful on the road, especially when carrying heavy loads. Even a small mistake can lead to dangerous situations, as seen in this case.

An investigation is now ongoing under the Road Transport Act 1987. Authorities are working to understand exactly how the container became detached and to prevent similar incidents in the future.
