Logan Guminski, a 27-year-old woman from Ocala, Florida, was arrested on March 21, 2025, after she allegedly filmed herself engaging in sexual acts with her pet Chihuahua and posted the footage to her Instagram account.
The explicit videos have since been removed from the platform.
Investigation and Arrest
According to an official statement by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook, the case came to light after an anonymous tip was submitted on January 28, 2025.
The tip alerted authorities to a disturbing video posted on Guminski’s Instagram, which showed sexual activity involving a dog.
As part of the investigation, Detective Jordyn Batts of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit reviewed Guminski’s social media content and uncovered several videos and photos showing similar acts involving the same Chihuahua.
Further investigation confirmed that Guminski was the person in the footage.
Guminski’s Confession
During an interview with Detective Jordyn Batts and Detective Annemarie Larocque, Guminski admitted that she is a “content creator” who creates sexually explicit content to sell online.
She also told investigators that she shared the video involving her Chihuahua with another social media user in exchange for $500 (approx. S$670).
Additionally, she confessed to engaging in similar acts with another dog and said those videos were still stored on her phone.
Legal Proceedings
Guminski was arrested on two felony charges:
- Sexual activity involving an animal and,
- Filming sexual activity involving an animal.
She was booked into Marion County Jail on March 21 and released the following day after posting a $10,000 (approx. S$13,406) bail.
She was scheduled to appear in court on April 22, 2025, where she will face the charges.
Animal Welfare Concerns
The current location and condition of the dogs involved have not been disclosed. Authorities have not commented on whether the animals were removed from Guminski’s care.
