The F1 seven-time champion shared the experience on social media, claiming that it had a strong impact on him, and he will never view the crisis the same.

Hamilton wrote that he had gone to a hospital and aid packaging plant in Jordan. Humanitarian organizations are using these places to assemble medical supplies, food, and any other essentials of people in Gaza.

The visit occurred because the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is still growing, and the aid agencies state that it is quite minimal at the moment.

Going to hospitals and support centers.

In his visit, Hamilton visited Red Cross, Red Crescent and Palestine Red Crescent teams in Britain and Jordan and Palestine respectively. He was complimenting on how committed and hardworking they are, terming their work to be a source of inspiration. Hamilton says the visit to the ground where the work was going on made him realize the true magnitude of the crisis.

He claimed that all that he was supposed to experience prior to the visit was sadness and helplessness. Rather, he was impressed by the power and will of the aid workers since they do not give up no matter the harsh environment. He termed the experience as life changing and that it made a lasting impression on him.

Publicity posted on millions of websites.

Hamilton posted pictures and posts about his visit on the Instagram page, which he has millions of subscribers across the world. In one of the posts, he said that assistance can be offered, but the level of help that is already flowing to Gaza is not enough. He emphasized that the misery could be terminated in case more efforts and concerns were paid to the crisis.

He also added that the situation should be continued to be discussed by people around the world and not to be ignored.

Hamilton is of the view that media attention is significant towards contributing to humanitarian interventions and assisting the needy to access aid.

Constant crisis and underfunding.

Repeated warnings have been issued by humanitarian organizations operating in the region that delivery of aid is being seriously challenged. There is a shortage in supplies and most civilians in Gaza still have to deal with food, clean water and medical care shortages. Jordan aid organizations are ready to provide as much assistance as they can, but accessing Gaza is a challenge.

The visit by Lewis Hamilton was made on January 21, 2026. Although he is the most successful on the racetrack, his recent activities have brought him into the spotlight of the humanitarian activities that are going on behind the scenes, well out of the Formula One sphere of action.
