“Rims and tyres gone” – The sorry state of a new red Singapore car parked at KSL Mall in Johor Bahru

Stolen Tyres and Rims

A Singaporean Car that was parked in the basement carpark of KSL Mall in Johor Bahru, a popular haunt for Singaporeans who go across the causeway, was stripped bare on 9 July 2022.

A TikTok user spotted a red vehicle that looked new with a Singaporean license plate that had no wheels and rims. The person who posted the video was unsure if the owner of the vehicle was even aware of what had happened to his car.

He noted that the people who removed the wheels and rims had left the jack stands, which are used to support the weight of lifted vehicles, behind.

The user added that he felt very sad and hoped that the owner manages to sort it out. You can view the full video here.

Reactions

Many people in the comments section of the TikTok video felt sorry for the owner of the red car. Some also shared how they refrain from driving into Johor Bahru with a Singapore-registered licensed plate as far as possible.

Others said that they had driven to and parked at KSL Mall regularly without issues.

We hope the KSL Mall management will help the affected Singaporean owner in recovery efforts.
