Jiangsu University (JSU) has launched its 2025 Presidential Scholarship to attract high-achieving international students to its English-taught degree programs.
The scholarship offers full or partial financial support, including tuition, accommodation, living stipend, and insurance, depending on the level of study and applicant background.
Full and Partial Scholarships Across Degree Levels
The JSU Presidential Scholarship is open to international students pursuing undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees. For PhD students, the scholarship offers full coverage of tuition and accommodation, along with a one-time living stipend of CNY 5,000.
Master’s students can receive up to CNY 25,000, while bachelor’s students may receive a tuition waiver of CNY 10,000—either for the first year or annually, depending on eligibility.
Eligibility and Covered Programs
The scholarship supports students enrolled in English-taught programs such as Food Science, Mechanical Engineering, E-commerce, and Finance. Applicants are evaluated based on academic merit, contribution to JSU’s student community, and university rankings.
JSU gives preference to graduates of top 1,000 global universities, students from “Belt and Road” partner institutions, and those who previously studied at JSU.
Applicants must meet age criteria—under 25 for bachelor’s, 30 for master’s, and 40 for doctoral programs.
JSU’s International Reputation
JSU, situated in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, is ranked among the top 60 universities in China. Known for its strength in engineering, materials science, and clinical medicine, it hosts over 1,000 international students from 78 countries. Its Overseas Education College (OEC) manages all aspects of international student life, from admissions to cultural integration.
The university’s global outlook is supported by joint programs, international research collaborations, and events like the JSU International Culture Festival and “Joy in Jiangsu” talent shows. Application and Deadline
Applications for the 2025 intake are open through JSU’s admissions platform, with the scholarship application automatically considered during the process.
The deadline to apply is July 14, 2025.
