Police are searching for two suspects who fired shots at a restaurant in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, resulting in one fatality and injuries to two others.

The shooting took place at approximately 10.50 pm on Friday, June 13, along Jalan Tun Sambanthan.
Arrived on a Motorcycle, Fired, and Fled the Scene
According to Brickfields district police chief Assistant Commissioner Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood, the suspects arrived on a motorcycle before firing multiple shots at a group of diners seated at the restaurant.
The attackers fled the scene immediately after the incident.

Three Victims Targeted During Dinner with Friends
According to Harian Metro, the victims: three Malaysian men aged between 30 and 50, were having a meal with several friends when they were approached by the suspects.
Without warning, the gunmen fired several rounds toward the group.
One Dead, Two Injured
One of the men died on the spot due to gunshot wounds.
His body was later taken to the University of Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM) for a post-mortem examination.
The two other men sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at PPUM. One of them is reported to be seriously injured, while the other sustained minor wounds.
Footage from Outside and Inside the Restaurant
According to the CCTV footage from outside the restaurant, two men on a motorcycle were captured before one of them went into the restaurant and started opening fire before fleeing the scene.
Meanwhile, CCTV footage from the inside of the restaurant showed diners scrambling for safety as the shooting took place outside.

At one point in the video, one man dressed in a white shirt and black trousers, believed to be one of the victims, was seen crawling into the inside of the restaurant.

Seconds later, the shooter came into the restaurant and pointed his weapon at him before leaving the premises.
It appears, though unconfirmed, that the victim had a wound on the side of his body.

CCTV Footage and Witness Statements Key to Investigation
Police are reviewing nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage to identify the assailants and determine the motive behind the attack.
Ku Mashariman said police will also be taking statements from the injured survivors as part of the ongoing investigation.
Case Investigated for Murder
The case is currently being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
Appeal for Information from the Public
