An ordinary afternoon in Malaysia became an experience when there was a sight of a helicopter which was taking off within a residential estate. It was filmed and shared online, where it soon got the attention of people. It shocked a lot of people to witness an aircraft soaring in the sky in what appeared as a residential street.
It is in the video that the helicopter is seen slowly lifting itself over roofs. There are parked vehicles and one-storey houses around. One can hear the spinning blades and the aircraft goes higher. This type of scene in a neighborhood is not very common and that is why it made the situation interesting to the viewers.
An Exclusive View in a Home neighborhood
The helicopter was seen to have been taking off an empty land between houses by witnesses. No official landing pad was in sight. A few citizens went out to see the plane take its slow steps upwards and get away. The helicopter pilot appeared to have been in full control of the copter without hitting any surrounding buildings and trees.
Though the police may at times use helicopters or the company may hire them, it is not common to find a helicopter flying so near to people.
Helicopters within the Malaysian context are usually associated with emergency service, military or even personal transport among the business people. But there was no prompt clarification as to what was the reason why this helicopter was there.
There was no reported accident or damage. The video showed that the helicopter safely flew out of the region. Local officials have not presented any information regarding the objective of the flight in detail.
The information whether it was a personal operation or a matter to do with official work is not clear.
To a large number of people living in Malaysia, the abrupt departure was a moment they did not forget too soon. The day started as a regular day but soon became another shocking sight in the sky.
