Arrives With Both Brides
A wedding in Sabah has captured attention online after a groom, reportedly in his 20s, was seen marrying two women on the same day.
In a TikTok video uploaded on 8 February by user @lennahamzah, the trio arrived at the ceremony together beneath a festive canopy.
Clad in matching purple wedding attire, the groom walked towards the wedding dais linking arms with both women — one on his left and one on his right.
Guests gathered around them, snapping photos and recording videos as the three smiled and made their way forward. They later sat side-by-side on the dais and posed for photographs, with one guest approaching for a selfie at the end of the clip.
The video has garnered over 39,000 likes at the time of writing.
Netizens Question Arrangement
The unusual ceremony left many online users divided.
Some speculated about the groom’s age. One commenter wrote, “That guy is like a kid 😁”, to which the creator replied, “In his 20s, something like that.”
Others questioned the permissibility of marrying two women at the same time. A netizen asked, “Isn’t it not allowed to marry two at the same time? Or is it allowed?” The creator responded, “It’s allowed, as long as you can afford it.”
There were also lighter remarks. One user commented, “At night, do they sleep on one bed? Asking in a weird tone 🤣🤣🤣”, with the creator replying, “I was wondering too 😂”.
While some expressed confusion, others offered well wishes to the trio, hoping they would remain happy together.
