Netanyahu Rebuts Death Rumors, Outlines War Strategy

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used his latest press conference to dismiss persistent rumors of his death and to reinforce Israel’s position in the ongoing conflict with Iran. Opening with the remark, “First of all, I just want to say, I’m alive,” he directly addressed misinformation that had circulated online and in Iranian media.

Netanyahu then shifted to broader geopolitical issues, noting the uncertainty in Tehran following Ayatollah Khamenei’s death. He framed Iran’s regime as destabilized and dangerous.

The Prime Minister highlighted Operation Roaring Lion, Israel’s joint military campaign with the United States, describing it as “historic” and claiming significant successes against Iranian and Hezbollah targets. He emphasized that the operation was designed not only to weaken Iran militarily but also to reshape regional dynamics.

A major policy announcement came in the form of an energy strategy: Netanyahu revealed plans to reroute oil and gas pipelines through Israel, bypassing the Strait of Hormuz. This move, he argued, would reduce Iran’s leverage over global energy flows and strengthen Israel’s role in regional infrastructure.

Finally, Netanyahu addressed the Iranian people directly, declaring that “the moment when you can embark on a new path of freedom is approaching.” His remarks suggested support for regime change and sought to position Israel as aligned with the aspirations of ordinary Iranians.
