The video that is being discussed is a video drama and it is spread online and brought Spanish cyclist Cecilia Sopeña back to the limelight. In the clip, we see a scary scene where she is in one of her riding sessions on the bicycle when she almost falls off the surface of a precipice.
What started as a normal ride through a mountain trail soon degenerated into a tense situation that could have claimed a life.
A Sudden Loss of Control
The accident occurred when Sopeña was riding on the loose gravel and rough rocks on a narrow road. These types of paths occur frequently in mountain biking, however, they are the ones that are hazardous.
The cyclist in the video that she has later uploaded online shows her being relaxed initially. She even goes to meet her dog just before the accident occurs.
She finds herself on her bike only seconds later and it all goes haywire when her bike loses traction on the loose ground. The front wheel starts sliding and Sopeña loses balance soon.
The edge of a cliff is too near as she slides along the unstable surface down the hill. The camera is still capturing the whole situation and how fast the situation changes into a serious one.
Holding On at the Edge
When the bike slides, Sopeña makes fruitless attempts to prevent herself from falling. She takes one of the rocks and she is still holding her bicycle. The ground is still shaking, and several seconds later she could even think that she and the bike might fall over the cliff.
At last, she is able to stop the situation after failing to control herself. As the video demonstrates, she only manages to rest several meters before the edge.
This is a startling scene that puts forward the fact that mountain trails are quite risky, particularly when the ground is unstable.
A Producer of a Good Online Presence.
Sopeña is a Cartagena-based cyclist and is famous because he shares his bike adventures and outside trip routes on social media. She also frequently depicts beautiful scenery, mountain routes, and other difficult rides in her videos in various places.
In the long run, these posts made her develop a following of people who also liked to ride bikes and venture into the outdoors.
The video is exciting and disturbing to the viewers. What began as a rather innocent ride over rocks and stones, turned out to be a moment where a single slip could bring my rather different conclusion.
