Singapore has a fair share of farms that have been producing food for our local markets and here are some places to get the freshest produce right in our backyards.

Dairy Folks

Source

Starting with just 6 cows in 1936, Dairy Folks Farm has grown to a farm with hundreds of cows, supplying fresh milk produce everyday. The hundreds of cows on the farm are fed daily with fresh-cut grass and are milked twice daily. To ensure freshness of the milk, it is pasteurised on site with no preservatives and additives added. The shelf life of each 1-litre of milk is quite short (about 3 days), but you are guaranteed freshness with each gulp of milk.

Address: 5 Lim Chu Kang Lane 8A Singapore 719608

Opening Hours: 9am to 6pm daily

There are a lot more farms and farmers in Singapore to support so go out there and start your own exploration journey in Singapore and learn how some of your food ended up on your plate!
