A relaxing Sunday afternoon turned chaotic at Kea Farm, Cameron Highlands, when a red Perodua Myvi veered off the road and crashed into a group of pedestrians.

The incident, which happened around noon on June 15 (Sunday), left four people injured: a 24-year-old man and three children aged 3, 8, and 10.
Driver Lost Control After Seizure
According to Cameron Highlands District Police Chief, Superintendent Azri Ramli, the car was heading from Brinchang towards Kea Farm when the 22-year-old driver experienced a sudden seizure behind the wheel.
The unexpected medical episode caused the vehicle to veer off towards the left shoulder of the road, crashing into four pedestrians, who were walking along the crowded area.
CCTV Footage Shows Moment of Impact
Surveillance footage, which has been widely shared online, captured the vehicle abruptly ploughing into the pavement and crashing into a group of pedestrians without warning.
The adult man was flung onto the road, while the three children ended up underneath the car.

Tension at the Scene
After the crash, the situation at Kea Farm quickly became tense.
The brief CCTV clip captured the chaos that followed. Several bystanders ran up to the car, pried open the driver’s door, and some, clearly shaken and angry, kicked at it.

Victims Treated and Discharged
Pahang police chief Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman confirmed that all four victims were brought to the Sultannah Hajjah Kalsom Hospital in Cameron Highlands for medical treatment.
According to New Straits Times, they were found to have only minor injuries and were allowed to return home after receiving care from the attending doctor.
The Driver Had a Clean Record and Tested Negative for Substances
Kosmo reported that initial checks by police showed the 22-year-old driver had no prior traffic summonses and tested negative for both drugs and alcohol.
However, authorities confirmed that he had a medical history of seizures.
Despite this, a summons was still issued to him under existing traffic laws, pending further investigation.
