An exceptional busking performance has begun to change the experience of people walking in the heartland of Singapore. While traveling on the train or walking on the streets of the neighborhood, a busker suddenly comes into view, accompanied by a hologram partner.

This unique combination of music and technology has become a new experience for many viewers. This performance has increased the curiosity of people, especially in the heartland areas.
Hologram Companion
This busker first started performing with his hologram partner in the heartland area. The ‘jamming’ of real artists and digital characters together caught the attention of the audience. As a result, pedestrians stopped and enjoyed the entire performance.

Many recorded videos on their mobile phones and shared them with friends. Over time, the crowd surrounding this performance continued to grow.
Changing Basking
In recent years, people’s attitude towards basking in Singapore has changed. Now, audiences are accepting street performances more sincerely. The dazzling and creative performances are increasing people’s interest.

As a result, more and more young artists are joining this medium. According to statistics, more than half of the new buskers are under the age of 30.
Voice of Arab Street
Muhammad Firdaus regularly performs at Haji Lane on Arab Street near Bugis. Firdaus, a former NRA dancer at Ngiy An Polytechnic, has been involved in music since childhood. He started his musical journey by singing Backstreet Boys songs at his parents’ house.

His voice captivates the audience with songs in the jazz and R&B genres. From pedestrians from different countries to international K-pop artists, his songs have been enjoyed by many.
The Path to the Future
Such new initiatives by buskers are further enriching Singapore’s street culture. The combination of music and technology is attracting a new generation. This makes street music not just entertainment, but also a modern medium of creative expression.
