A Gentle Send-off Before Morning

In a video posted on 12 February by Instagram user @asihyuliantiyulianti, two cats lounge comfortably on small sofas placed outside her home. One orange cat rests calmly while a grey-and-white companion watches nearby as the woman prepares to head out.

Panning her camera between them, she speaks affectionately:

“Everybody, working night shift? Enjoy ah. Enjoy, sayang… Have a good day, okay? See you in the morning.”

She playfully kisses one cat’s toes, checks its ears, and praises them as if sending family members off to duty rather than pets staying behind.

The lighthearted interaction quickly resonated with viewers, many describing the exchange as wholesome and comforting.

Not Just Corridor Cats

While some viewers initially wondered if the cats lived outdoors, other videos on the account show that the animals freely move between inside and outside the home.

In one clip, the woman demonstrates a small window gap allowing the grey-and-white cat to enter and leave as it pleases. Both cats are also seen indoors, wearing collars and resting comfortably inside the flat.

Another video shows her joking that she is “lucky” to have a cat that does not urinate or defecate along the corridor — something she says neighbours appreciate.

According to her posts, residents in the area have grown fond of the feline pair, who quietly lounge outside without causing disturbance.

Internet Reacts to Everyday Kindness

The original video drew supportive comments praising the woman’s care for her pets.

One viewer wrote, “Thank you for being kind ❤️.”

Another joked, “Increase their kibbles. They work hard to guard the house.”

Some viewers also expressed concern for the cats’ safety and advised keeping them indoors due to potential risks from people who may harm animals. However, subsequent videos clarify that the cats are not permanently left outside and can return indoors whenever they wish.

Small Moments, Shared Warmth

In dense urban living spaces, encounters between neighbours — human or feline — often become part of daily life.

Sometimes, goodness shows up in a quiet goodbye before dawn — and two cats patiently waiting to see their human again in the morning.
