A Touching Morning Routine
A young Malaysian girl has touched thousands of hearts after a video showed her struggling to say goodbye to her father before he left for work as an airline pilot in Dubai. The footage shows the toddler in pink pajamas standing near the kitchen as her father prepares for his flight.

Ten minutes before his ride pulled up, she stayed right next to him. She just stood there watching him put his stuff in his bag.
Preparing for Departure
Dad picked her up for a quick hug while sliding into his jacket and grabbing his work gear. She kept her eyes locked on him with a sad look.

She trailed after him around the room because she did not want him to walk out of her sight. The clip also features the text, “She used to cry only for mama, now three years later, which points out how much closer she has grown to her dad over the years.
Final Goodbyes at the Door
The father walks toward the front entrance of the house with his large black suitcase in hand. Before stepping outside into the night, he kneels down to offer his daughter one final hug and a kiss. The young girl accepts the comforting gesture while standing near the doorway.

Once the father stands up and walks toward the waiting car in the driveway, the child manages to wave and call out a soft goodbye. A car soon arrives to take him to the airport. The family moment reflects standard routines experienced by aviation households worldwide.
Emotional Aftermath of Leaving
As the car drives away from the residential property, the young girl is picked up by a family member. The sudden realization that her father is officially gone triggers an immediate wave of sadness. She turns toward the camera and bursts into loud tears.
Many viewers said the clip reminded them of the sacrifices made by parents who spend long periods away from home for work. Others shared similar experiences growing up with parents whose jobs required them to travel.
