Rare Albino Buffalo Finds New Home
A rare albino buffalo nicknamed ‘Donald Trump’ officially moved to its new home at the Bangladesh National Zoo after a last-minute intervention from government officials saved it from the sacrifice ritual during Eid al-Adha.
Footage captured on Friday shows ‘Trump’ the buffalo being groomed by zoo staff after being moved to its new enclosure. A crowd of visitors is also seen gathering near the viewing area, taking pictures and watching the animal eat fodder.

Zoo Officer Humayun Kabir says the buffalo will take its time to adjust from the farm environment where it was hand-raised to the zoo, where it will meet a large group of people.
“Every time the animal changes places, it eats less food. Besides, there are some problems due to excessive heat, because there was a fan system on the farm, but there is no fan here, so it is a bit weak,” he said.
Zoo Sees Surge in Visitors
“On the second day of Eid al-Adha, there were more than 2,000 visitors to the zoo. Every year, there are fewer visitors on Eid al-Adha. But this year, after bringing Donald Trump to the zoo, the number of visitors has increased a lot,” Kabir added.

The water buffalo resembling US President Donald Trump quickly gained attention on various social media platforms due to its unusual pinkish skin and flowing golden-blonde presidential fringe hairstyle.
Social Media Fame Draws Crowds
“I saw a lot of discussion on Facebook about this buffalo; I saw many videos on YouTube. The buffalo’s appearance is similar to Donald Trump, which is why there has been a lot of excitement,” a visitor remarked.

The buffalo was spared from Eid al-Adha sacrifice after attracting huge crowds for its distinctive appearance.
Authorities intervened over safety concerns, refunded the buyer, and placed the animal under state protection.
