Fans have gone wild watching the trailer of the long-delayed “Jana Nayagan” as it begins playing in theatres this week following the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election.

The Kerala Vijay Fans Club X account recently posted a clip from a movie theatre, which showed the trailer of the movie on the big screen. Fans could be heard cheering wildly as the trailer revealed the words “Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, C. Joseph Vijay in Jana Nayagan”.
It went even wilder as the screen shows the words, “Let’s celebrate in theatres soon.”
The movie, which has been in a censorship limbo since January, is rumoured to have a release date sometime in late May or early June. It was originally set for release on Pongal last year.

It is dubbed Vijay’s final film as he and his political party TVK emerged as the single-largest party with 108 seats in the Tamil Nadu 234-member assembly in the recent election.
