Pokemon fans have flocked to Seoul Forest to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary with the spectacular Pokemon Mega Festa 2026.
Footage captured on Thursday depicts crowds of enthusiastic visitors exploring the expansive 2,800-square-metre ‘Secret Forest,’ a vibrant outdoor exhibition that transforms the park into a lively Pokemon safari.
The event has drawn massive crowds, leading to long waiting times just to enter. Despite the congestion, fans eagerly capture moments beside various Pokemon sculptures scattered throughout the exhibition – on trees, behind rocks, and hidden among the greenery. Many are also excited to purchase themed merchandise inside the venue.

Kim Seo-dam shared her delight, “I was pleasantly surprised by how cute everything was, so I took lots of photos and had a great time.”
Longtime fan Lena added, “I’ve been a Pokémon fan since childhood, and this has been a fantastic experience. The setup is amazing, and I’m really happy with the Pokémon goods available.”
The themed garden features larger-than-life sculptures of beloved characters such as Pikachu and Eevee, alongside a nearby Metamon (Ditto) Playground, creating a visual delight that blends interactive zones with nature.
The event runs from May 1 to June 21. The opening week has been unprecedented, with a staggering 40,000 fans attending on the first day alone!
