Battling heavy rain, thousands of fans from all across the world poured into the Goyang Stadium in Goyang as iconic South Korean boyband BTS kicked off their ‘2026 Arirang World Tour’.

Footage shows visitors, many with BTS merchandise, arriving at the stadium, taking photos of banners, and posing with light sticks before the concert.

“I’m so excited. I saw the soundcheck event. It was so amazing,” shared Lena, a fan from Germany.

All seven band members, RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, have returned to the stage this year after completing their four-year military hiatus.

“I’ve been a fan for six years now, and this is my first BTS concert,” said Lisa from Russia. “I’m very, very, very excited. Cannot wait to go inside and see them.”

BTS’s comeback came with their fifth Korean studio album, ARIRANG – their first full set of new studio material in six years and their first full-group return after military service. The album reigned on the Billboard 200 chart for two weeks.

The tour, which is expected to be the largest concert tour in K-pop history, will take the band to 34 cities across North America, Europe, South America and Asia. It is scheduled to run from April 2026 to March 2027.
