As promised, Sun Pictures has now unveiled the first photo and official title of its upcoming AA22xA6 project.

The movie, which stars Allu Arjun in the lead, is now officially called “Raaka,” as the studio announced on social media on 8 April, which is also the date of Allu Arjun’s 44th birthday.
“#AA22xA6 is now #Raaka. Prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits,” the caption read.
In a statement released to the media, Sun Pictures expressed, “Raaka is a collaboration born of the highest ambitions in Indian cinema. Sun Pictures is privileged to bring together the singular storytelling of Atlee and the iconic stature of Allu Arjun in a project built for the world. We believe this will not only redefine the scale of what we create, but also affirm Indian cinema’s rightful place in global entertainment.”

Meanwhile, director Atlee expressed that the movie isn’t just an ordinary flick, but a part of him that he carried for years.
“For 18 years, I held on to one idea, never letting it fade. It tested me, shaped me, and stayed with me through everything. And honestly… this is just the beginning,” he expressed.
The upcoming movie, which co-stars Deepika Padukone, is expected to release in 2027.
