Chaos broke out in Cheras after more than 50 masked individuals stormed a karaoke outlet in broad daylight, leaving parts of the premises damaged.

The incident is believed to have taken place at around 1.30pm yesterday at a KTV centre in Taman Shamelin, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

Lorry Crashes Into Gate Before Group Rushes In

A 1 minute 11 second video recording that has been circulating online captured the moment the attack unfolded.

The clip shows a lorry crashing directly into the main gate of the KTV, damaging the entrance.

Moments later, a large group of masked individuals, many dressed in black, were seen rushing into the premises.

Several of them appeared to be carrying objects believed to be iron rods and wooden sticks.

Panic reportedly spread as the group stormed the karaoke area.

Furniture and Equipment Damaged

According to reports, several items inside the entertainment centre were damaged during the incident.

Glass panels, doors and furniture were reportedly left wrecked after the group entered.

The suspects are believed to have fled shortly after, leaving stunned onlookers at the scene.

So far, the motive behind the attack has yet to be determined.

Investigators are looking into whether the incident may be linked to revenge, a dispute, or unpaid debt.

Police Have Opened Investigation

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed that a police report has been lodged.

He said the case is currently being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for mischief causing damage and Section 148 for rioting with weapons.

“Currently, efforts are underway to track down the suspect,” he said.

Police are actively working to identify and locate those involved.

The viral footage has since drawn widespread attention online due to the sheer number of masked individuals seen storming the premises in broad daylight.
