A Malaysian man has made headlines around the world for his unusual number of teeth. 33-year-old engineer Prathab Muniandi has entered the Guinness World Records with a total of 42 teeth in his mouth. Normally, a person has 32 teeth in their mouth.

However, in Prathab’s case, the number of teeth is 10 more. This is why he has been recognized as the record holder for the most teeth among men. The matter initially surprised his family, but later it became a world record.
Strange Discovery
Prathab said that he first realized this in 2021. Then one day while drinking tea with his family, he felt that he had extra teeth in his mouth. He told his family members about the matter. Then everyone counted his teeth and saw that he had 38 teeth in his mouth at that time.

Later, an X-ray examination of the teeth showed that four more teeth had not yet erupted. His family was also surprised to hear this news.
Tooth Growth
According to Prathab, the total number of his teeth stood at 42 in early 2023. Most of his teeth had grown straight. As a result, the teeth did not cause any major problems in his mouth.

Usually, having extra teeth can lead to various health complications. However, in his case, no such complications occurred. That is why he considers himself lucky.
People’s Reactions
Prathab said that most people do not realize his extra teeth at first glance. However, when he himself revealed the matter, everyone was surprised. Many people did not want to believe that he had 10 extra teeth in his mouth at first.

Then, when they counted the teeth or saw the picture, they realized the truth. As a result, the matter came as a surprise to many. This incident has also become a topic of discussion on social media.
Health Awareness
Despite having extra teeth, Prathab is very conscious about his oral health. He brushes his teeth at least twice a day. He also uses floss regularly. According to him, if proper care is not taken, dental problems can occur.
Therefore, he always tries to take care of his teeth. Doctors have also advised him to maintain dental cleanliness.
