Netflix has already established that its new romantic comedy series, Boyfriend on Demand, will be released on March 6. Jisoo of BLACKPINK and actor Seo In-guk will have a blend of technology and modern love in the show.

The drama with its new idea and star cast is already attracting a lot of attention among the fans all over the world.
An Overworked Producer Wants to Have a Change.
The second character Jisoo plays in the series is Seo Mi-rae, a webtoon producer who is tired of her monotonous job and unsuccessful love life. She is a laborer and she does not have much time with herself.

Being lonely and stressed, Mi-rae resolves to test a new online dating agency dubbed as Boyfriend on Demand. The program enables users to have a flawless date within the various virtual worlds.
With this subscription system, Mi-rae will be able to chalk out romantic experiences in the manner that she desires. Wandering in cherry-blossoms and dinners with fancy stuff, all this is a dream. But the more time she spends in this digital world, the more complicated is her real life.
Competition Becomes Unintended Dynamics.
As Mi-rae plays along with her online love-affair, she has to manage her work and her work-rival, Park Kyeong-nam. Seo In-guk performs the role and has numerous reputable dramas like Reply 1997 and Doom at Your Service.

Kyeong-nam and Mi-rae compete at the workplace with regards to work projects. Their interaction is strained, although there are signs of something deeper there.
The first teaser video that Netflix released starts with a straightforward question, namely, are you worn out by life and fed up with dating yet want romance? It then promptly brings in Mi-rae and her choice to join the virtual dating program.
Her digital dates are concealed by their faces in the teaser, which makes one wonder who is going to be next.
It is said that some of the popular actors such as Seo Kang-jun, Lee Soo-hyuk, Kim Young-dae, and Lee Jae-wook will come as Mi-rae virtual boyfriends.
This project is a continuation of Jisoo who had appeared in Newtopia and the fantasy film Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy in the aftermath of her earlier appearances.

Through her Boyfriend on Demand, she is back to the light romantic tale however with a modern twist. With the premiere date close at hand, people can easily tell that Mi-rae is going to face the challenge of selecting the ideal digital love or experiencing genuine emotion in reality.
